Historic Post and Beam Restoration

Historic houses require unique details to be maintained. The original oak posts and one beam had severe rot that required attention. We duplicated the original posts for all their details, placed jack posts where needed to secure the weight and replaced the posts one by one. The beam we handcarved to match the original and chiseled out the old beam. Lastly once all the posts were in place we replaced the wood siding and gave it all 2 coats of paint.
